Ariégeoises valleys are more and more frequented by  nature lovers. Paradise of the hike, we discover magnificent forests, lakes and sharp summits. The exploitation of forests, the pastoralisme and the agriculture have created landscapes which has been hiding for centuries exceptional wild and animals.Some mountains very difficult to climb surround this area which is one of the wildest of the Pyrenees. The Valleys of Ax The Valleys of Ax have got a tourist heritage of a rare density. It's possible to practise a lot of a multitude of sporting activities in winter as well as in summer. Its heritage make this region worth discovering. That the reason why we have choosen this valley for the sixth edition of Trail Blanch. Created in 2002, the Association of local authorities of the Valleys of Ax, his our partner for this sport event, This association includes  the districts of Luzenac-Les Cabanes and Ax-les-Thermes. There are 39 municipalities  gathering 5617 inhabitants. The department of Ariège-Pyrenees ( 09 ) possesses rich historical heritage ( Cathar castles, thermal baths of Ax-les-Thermes) etc. The environmental approach of Trail Blanch The  trail is a discipline of natural sport which is rapidly growing nowadays. More than 10 million persons in Europe practise this activity in competition. Beyond the purely sports aspect, and the taste of  effort, the runners are looking for an immersion in wild nature. The Aravo Aventure association, The organizer of the Trail Blanch, wished to associate to its model of organization a purpose  of protection of the environment. All the products used for the beaconing are certified "ecological" ( cans of aerosol paint rubalise oxobiodégradable....) The regulation of the race insists particularly on the respect of the beaconing, and the respect of nature. Every competitor  must  have a tumbler which will be used  for all the provisionings, to avoid an excessive waste and the risk of abandonment. le film Oxo - bio dégradable : Le film Oxo bio dégradable possède en tout point les caractéristiques d'un film tradititionnel, l'épaisseur, les couleurs, la texture et la solidité. Des tests montrent que les micro-organismes, les bactéries présentent dans le sol colonisent la surface du film s'en nourissent et le détruise pour aboutir à une bio assimilation. Le test montre que les particules qui se dégradent dans le sol sont sans effet s toxiques sur la faune et la flore (Norme EN13432). Co-voiturage Toujours dans une démarche éco-citoyenne, pour cette édition 2010, l'association Aravo Aventure met en place un service de covoiturage. Sur ce site, chacun peut proposer un voyage, aller et/ou retour. Accéder au service de covoiturage
